Mathew joins the impartial comparison and switching service from energy and home services supplier SSE where he was Director of Propositions. Prior to that Mathew was Commercial Director for Laithwaites Wine, the world’s largest direct wine business.
He also held senior commercial and marketing roles with Cigna Insurance, Hastings Direct, British Gas and RAC.
Mathew has a BA Hons from Durham University and a Marketing Diploma from CIM.
Headquartered in London, uSwitch was founded in 2000 and is an impartial price comparison site for a range of energy, personal finance, insurance and communications services. Based on site traffic it is the third largest comparison site in the UK and in 2015 it was acquired by the Zoopla Property Group in a deal that valued the company at over £150 million.
