Renaissance is delighted to announce that Sophie Bernard has joined Madrid based Packlink as COO.
Sophie joins from Barcelona based software publisher Softonic, where she was COO. Prior to Softonic she held roles with Amazon, where she was Head of EU AMS, and eDreams ODIGEO where she was CRO.
Founded in 2012 by Ben Askew-Renaut and Javier Bravo, Packlink is an online shipping service offering individuals and businesses a fast and easy way of booking parcel deliveries with the world's top couriers, where it integrates with their booking and parcel tracking systems.
Packlink is based in Madrid but operates across Europe. Their aim is to become the leading provider of shipping technology for consumers and eCommerce merchants selling online.
The business is expanding rapidly and recently signed a new deal with eBay - Packlink eBay delivery - where Packlink handles shipments for eBay sellers.
Investors in Packlink include; Accel, Eight Roads, Active Venture Partners and Harbert European Growth Capital.
