Renaissance are pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Mullen as SVP Engineering at Reliance Health
Founded in 2016 by Femi Kuti, Opeyemi Olumekun, and Matthew Mayaki, Reliance Health is on a mission to make quality healthcare accessible and affordable in countries where the dominant path to healthcare is to pay at the point of access. Reliance Health uses technology and data science to build an integrated health system that includes affordable health insurance, telemedicine and a combination of partner and proprietary healthcare facilities. This allows them to offer innovative healthcare solutions that meet the needs of the emerging markets.
Having received early investment from the likes of Partech Partners, Y Combinator and Tencent, Reliance Health have recently raised $40m, led by General Atlantic to help fuel their international expansion. In line with their expansion model, they have made the following hire to their executive leadership team:
Nick Mullen – SVP Engineering
Nick has led technology and product teams focussed on AI and privacy development, most recently in his role as Director of Engineering at Babylon Health. He has over twenty years of technical management experience with a proven delivery record in large-scale transformation programmes. Nick joins Reliance Health to design and execute their technical roadmap and to create an environment that attracts and retains world-class talent.
