Renaissance is delighted to announce the appointment of Michael Lutz as Head of Global Professional Services at San Francisco headquartered GitLab.
GitLab was founded in 2014 as an open-source code collaboration platform that enables developers to create, review and deploy codebases. GitLab completed a $268M Series E round of fundraising in 2019 lead by led by Goldman Sachs, that pushed the company’s valuation to $2.75B.
Michael is an experienced global services senior leader with a demonstrated history of working with leading companies including Salesforce. Prior to joining GitLab, Michael reported directly into Serenova’s CEO, leading the global services delivery strategy with full P&L authority.
