2016 proved to be a vintage year for the technology practice and our activities continued to mirror the best elements and trends of the industry.
At the beginning of the year Symantec and VERITAS officially became two independent businesses. We worked closely with VERITAS assisting them with their commercial leadership requirements as they became a large scale independent PE backed business.
Throughout the year the practice also worked extensively with the UK Fintech industry as it continued to disrupt the financial services segment. We are extremely proud of our completed assignments with Currency Cloud, DueDil, GoCardless and TotallyMoney.com.
The team was also busy in the infrastructure software space, in particular working with Tier 1 open source companies such as Couchbase and DataStax who lead the charge in reducing legacy cost and reliance on traditional vendors. In addition, we were fortunate to be mandated by a number of the leading US headquartered software companies such as Qualtrics, Integral Ad Science and Carbon Black assisting them with their EMEA market insertion and expansion strategies.
Finally, we seamlessly delivered searches with our silicon valley team ensuring global coverage with local execution; the CEO of RGAx and CRO of Kenshoo being good examples.
