DueDil appoints Pierre Berlin as Chief Revenue Officer

Renaissance Leadership is proud to announce the appointment of one of EMEA’s finest SaaS leaders, Pierre Berlin, as the Chief Revenue Officer of DueDil.

Pierre has spent the last five years developing LinkedIn’s talent solution in EMEA. During this time, the talent solutions group has grown to 60% of LinkedIn’s overall revenues. Pierre was widely recognized within LinkedIn as one of their most talented and effective global leaders. Earlier in his career, Pierre spent ten years with Business Objects joining them as a small French startup and seeing them all the way through to an eventual exit to SAP for $6bn.

Headquartered in London, DueDil is seen as one of the most exciting and innovative members of the UK Fintech community. Founded in 2011, DueDil is building a worldwide database of all companies bringing full transparency to the way global business is conducted. Based in London, DueDIl has raised £30m from respected investors in the US and UK, including Oak Investment Partners, Passion Capital and Notion Capital.

Pierre joins the founders, Damian Kimmelman (CEO) and Justin Fitzpatrick (COO), as the third member of the core leadership team taking responsibility for all commercial activities.

Commenting on the appointment Damian Kimmelman, CEO DueDil, said: “We enlisted the services of Renaissance Leadership three months ago and I couldn't have been more impressed with their service. Sebastian Kayll ran a super slick process, he was available day and night to speak about candidates and was the perfect go between for all of the stakeholders associated with the process. I was impressed by the level of commitment that he and Vania had to sourcing the role. I have worked with many recruitment firms and a few head hunting firms but Renaissance Leadership was the first firm that I have used that not only sourced a superb candidate, but really taught me to be a better recruiter personally. I would highly recommend them to anyone apart from our competitors”.

Chris Tottman, Partner at Notion Capital observed: “Great searches are when something truly out of the ordinary happens. This is often as a consequence of the search firm and the way you partner with them. This certainly was the case with Sebastian when we were running the DueDil CRO search. We had the incredible challenge of a richness of options with final candidates. We're tremendously excited about Pierre Berlin who has joined as a consequence”.
